Darwin Community Legal Service (DCLS) provides a range of free services

Our services include:

  • Legal Advice and Referral
  • Aged and Disability Rights
  • Welfare Rights
  • Tenants’ Advice Service
  • Community Education and Publications
  • Human Rights and Public Interest law

DCLS provides free legal advice at weekly advice sessions in Darwin, Casuarina, and Palmerston.  A weekly telephone advice session is available for people unable to attend our office due to disability or distance.

You can call DCLS or drop in to get information about where to get help with a legal problem. We will refer you to one of our own services or other services in the community that may be able to help you.

DCLS is funded by the Commonwealth Attorney General's Department,
