  Welfare Rights
Who do we help?
  • People who are unhappy with a decision made about their Centrelink (social security) payments including old aged pension, disability support pensions, newstart allowance and other pensions and benefits
  • Young people who have problems with Youth Allowance, Abstudy or Austudy

What can we do for you?
We can give you information, support and help with the law about:
  • Your rights with Centrelink
  • Appealing decisions made by Centrelink
  • In some cases we will represent you before the Tribunals that are hearing your case

What else can we do?
  • We also educate the community about Centrelink and people’s responsibilities
  • We try to change the way Centrelink works so it gives people a fairer go
