The AGM is a meeting required to be held once a year. The purpose of an AGM is to allow the Board to report to members on DCLS’s activities and finances for the previous year, to allow time for members to ask questions about the activities and finances, and to consider the appointment of an auditor and to elect members to DCLS’ board. The business of the AGM is set out in the attached Agenda and members are encouraged to have productive discussions in relation to those items.

Who may attend?

The AGM is open to all members of DCLS. However only DCLS member whose membership application  has been approved by the board and have paid their membership fee within 2 months of board approval are eligible to vote 13.2(c) at the AGM. We encourage anyone who has interest in the supporting the community’s access to legal advice to become a member of DCLS and come along to participate in the official business of DCLS.
