Darwin Community Legal Service


Darwin Community Legal Service is always looking for more more volunteers to assist us in giving back to the community. Our volunteers not only gain an insight into the needs of the Darwin community, they also develop professional skills and connections through working closely with one another within a conductive environment.


Free Legal Advice Clinics:

Since the service opened in 1990, our free clinics have been staffed by volunteers. Our free legal advice clinics are held at varying times throughout the month, with opportunities available for volunteers at Darwin, Casuarina and Palmerston.

Our sessions are run regularly as follows;

Every Tuesday & Thursday
5.30pm – 7.30pm
Level 2, 75 Woods St

4th Monday of each month
6.00pm – 8.00pm
Palmerston Library

2nd Saturday of each month
10.00am – 11.45am
Casuarina Library


We are seeking volunteers for the roles of supervisor, advisor, legal assistants and intake coordinators. Volunteers are rostered on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis.
