This month we met with ASIC Connect and other members of the finance sector to discuss solutions to protect older Australians from financial abuse. We also raised the need to improve access to financial and banking services for people with disabilities.

We were pleased to be able to discuss the results of our Elder Abuse Prevention Project NT survey. As financial abuse was found to be the most common form of Elder Abuse, we need greater protections for seniors.
